Far Away Friends

After graduating nearly a year ago I have found myself in an interesting position. Who am I supposed to hang out with? Nearly all of my close friends from high school and college have suddenly disappeared to different states or different countries. Its been difficult but its also made me realize how strong of bonds I have made with some amazing ladies who are off doing amazing things!Hannah Trip

Aside from the personal struggle of being lonely in a city where you went to college and should know many more people, I think being apart from friends is always going to put pressure on those relationships. That second part is fine if you don’t really want the friendship to continue after a move or a live change. But that is definitely NOT the case here. The handful of close friends I made during college will hopefully last a lifetime, even if that also means it has to last across the globe as well.

I think we are doing pretty good so far at keeping in touch! There are a few different scenarios for each of my closest friends that I am thinking about, but I’m not sure how much I want to get into it…

Oh! What I meant to really target this post to be about (before the above sappy ramble) is this (which will probably also be a sappy ramble). So far the experiences I’ve had with visiting or facetiming these friends is that although things in our lives are changing our friendship is not! We are still as close as ever! That makes me smile and honestly makes me feel loved. So shout-out to those friends!
